My Grandmother visited us for Christmas so I though this would be the perfect opportunity to try out a roll of New York, New York 400. I pushed this roll to 800 thinking it was going to look very dreamy with blooming highlights. The end result was something I did not anticipate.

Roll 2 and 3 are just some self-portraits and headshots with my partner and our cat. Shot in out living room with a source-four light. Some shot of our favorite local bar, The Boulita in Silver Lake. Also captured on Fuji 200 some shots during filming and a spontaneous company fieldtrip to our favorite coffee place, MoonGoat Roastery in Garden Grove, CA.

Recently came across a Sigma 28mm f1.8 in K-mount. Loaded with a roll of Fuji 200 and equipped with a variable-ND filter, I look it out for a spin. Everything shot on the same day / night.

On my 28th birthday, I loaded up a roll of Amber 800T and took my partner of about 8 years to one of my favorite places, Clearman’s North Woods Inn. After that we went for a walk around downtown Pasadena.

During the month of August 2023, I tried my luck on B&W film. On this roll of Arista Ultra 400, my father, some friends and collogues. The cliffs of Palos Altos, streets of Silver Lake, and a warehouse and office in Garden Grove.

At the end of 2021, I picked up an old film camera from my journalist friend Yanit Mehta in Irvine, CA. During this time, I was freelancing in the film industry as a camera assistant and camera operator. Leading into the Covid19 Pandemic, I had to switch gears and build my editorial skills in order to continue working.
By May of 2022, My partner, our cat and I had moved into our first apartment in Silverlake, Los Angeles. Captured in my first roll of film is the transition into a new chapter of life rich in friendship, culture growth.
